    As for Tuller being the architect, that is possible, I guess. The ad above hints that Tuller did the 1914 addition - given the year of the ad. If he did the second, he likely did the original 1906 building - but it makes you wonder why they looked so different.
    I would have thought the only difference is the matter of costs in the brickwork and design of the hotel. The walls in the original are more of the Victorian age, when he did the addition, it would have been more within the Arts and Crafts period, which disdained ornamentation.
