Years ago most of the signs at the DTW airport in Romulus were printed in both English and Chinese. I don't recall seeing any other languages. Are the signs still like that at DTW?

Are there more Chinese passengers at DTW than other nationalities? Why?

This information might be of help to dylan.zhong.

    Thanks a lot.
You can get a lot of stuff at a good dollar store or a place like Meiers or KMart. Most of those items will cost about $2 or $3 each most places. As I mentioned to you, Flint is over 60 miles or 128km from Detroit.

Do they have good Pro Wrestling Federations in China?
Your choice suit yourself best, but not me. I will experience the true lifestyle of America, but at the beginning, I think I need to adapt the USA gradually.

Here in Southfield you can buy food pretty cheaply. Dollar stores sell a pound sometimes 2 pounds of spaghetti, a 16 oz jar of spaghetti sauce, a dozen eggs, and bread for $1 each. You can also get 4 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and a small box of laundry soap for $1 each. You may have to go to more one than one store to find them. The Kroger sometimes sometimes sells a 16 oz jar of peanut butter for $1; it is usually around $3 just like the spaghetti, sauce and eggs. Usually you can buy a loaf of unsliced Italian bread for $1. Right now Meiers is selling a 64 oz. bottle of an orange drink called Sunny D for $1. You have to look for the bargains. A Save a Lot store near me store sells a pound of hotdogs for $1; they usually average $3 or $4 a pound uncooked. Raw chicken is around $1.50/ pound; raw ground beef is around $2.50/pound. Sometimes rice is less than a dollar a pound. I can get apples at a local Syrian green grocer for $.79/ pound, 6 oranges for $1, bananas for $.50/ pound or less. Maybe the Flint residents can tell you what the rock-bottom prices are there.

    Bus lines :
    https://www.greyhound.com/farefinder...=6&DDay=6&DHr=

Looks like 3 buses from Flint to Detroit on Sundays. If you buy tickets online you save nearly $7 on a one-way ticket, more round trip, but that takes a credit/debit card. If you open a bank account, you'll get one.

Looks like one bus after 3 pm on Monday.

    Same for Tuesday and Wednesday.

I just googled Detroit bus schedule.

Of course, getting back to Flint is the problem.

Looks like you better plan to spend a night in Detroit.

    Thank you!
I find some foods are even chipper than ones in China.
I think it is only the weekend that I can cook in the dorm. In the weekday, I have to eat in the canteen of the school. I shall like to know how much is each meal? such as baskfirst, lunch and supper

I'm sure if you email the persons that were posted in the International studies office, they can help you find other students, tell you if you can cook in your room and other pertinent information that you need to attend Kettering successfully

I have tried to contact the school and some people taking charge of international student, but the replying was simply and offical. I would rather post the threads in the forum. I consider that there are many friendly and kindly perpons in the forum, who can give me more information as well.

There is a Chinese Gospel Church in Livonia, a suburb of Detroit. The minister Rev. Peter Wu has said to contact him through his email address, wuandy51@gmail.com. I told him that you might be interested in seeing Detroit places of interest like the Glass House and the Rouge Assembly Plant. You will also meet some Chinese Americans there.
In the meantime here are some pictures of Flint from the internet:
