Mention Motor City Makeover projects here.
Especially contact information for volunteers, no project is too small to mention.

They changed the name back? I thought it was called something else now.
Are there any groups cleaning up the Livernois [[NW) district that I can join? I'd love to volunteer, but I am car-less.
Wow, this is very sad.
Motor City Makeover gets no discussion.
Hey, Downtown Detroit is this weekend!
Well, I have on my calendar for this Saturday:
from the Friends of Belle Isle Aquarium Facebook Page- So what's next? How can you help, you ask? Saturday, May 8th, 9 am - we will be meeting at the Aquarium to prioritize what needs to be done - weeding, edging, landscaping, cleaning; scraping, glazing & fixing windows; all the stuff that's more fun to do somewhere other than your own home! If you have a skill that would help in any of these areas... we need you - and if you don't, we need you anyway!
Also this Saturday, found the link on Creekside Community Development's Facebook Page, sounds like fun;
