Thought you might find this interesting, in light of the earlier thread on the forum about old DPD squad cars.

This is a pursuit car, sold in Iowa, so it could have been either a state highway patrol car or maybe a county sheriff's vehicle???

How cool would that one look with authentic, gold, "Detroit Police" lettering on the side?

Oh, that's a beauty! Yeah, the 'flying 7' decal on the side and a single red bubble on the roof, and I'm back in my rookie days! Nice job on the restoration from reading the details.

How does that song go? "If I were a rich man....deedle deedle deedle deedle dum........." Sigh. But thanks for the link!
