313WX, after this thread, I'm a huge fan of yours. Meteorologists are the absolute best!
Unless something crazy happens with the precipitation now, it appears Detroit will tie its least snowiest March on record with only a trace measured at Metro Airport. The only other time this ever happened since weather records started was in 1946.
No snow in Las Vegas this year, but the mountains got a pretty good coating throughout the season. Here's a shot of my subdivision last January that shows what the difference in elevation does to the snow cover.
