I think every Neisners in the entire Detroit area had wooden floors that squeaked.

I believe Gage Olds was the dealer on the Motor Mile, wasn't it? Floyd Foren was the Chevy dealer, and Higgins [[then Belcrasto) Pontiac.

At one time, it was Gage-Drummy Olds. I guess that Mr Gage bought out Mr Drummy.

......if you see an old photo that has the Flair Furniture store on the corner of 9-Mile and Allen [[?), that's where the Kroger store was. Brad's Rock Shop was what you're thinking of, across the street from the old AD Camera location on 9 Mile between Livernois and Pinecrest.

Mom and I would go out to dinner at Ray Croton's when Dad was away on test trips for Chrysler. I remember it as being a nice place, but I was 12, so what did I know?
