    ......if you see an old photo that has the Flair Furniture store on the corner of 9-Mile and Allen [[?), that's where the Kroger store was. Brad's Rock Shop was what you're thinking of, across the street from the old AD Camera location on 9 Mile between Livernois and Pinecrest.

    Mom and I would go out to dinner at Ray Croton's when Dad was away on test trips for Chrysler. I remember it as being a nice place, but I was 12, so what did I know?
