I bought two properties in 2010, both inexpensive homes in Detroit for the use of independent film production. I would like to declare them for their entire cost for 2010 taxes as a business write off.

They collectively are well under the 500,000 minimum stated on the tax instructions.

Can I deduct them for the combined purcahse price? IS there a formula I must use instead?
