It was 30% off at Border's here in it's first week.

Do you have any evidence that Palin's book sales are doctored, or are you making things up again? I guess they could have duped the New York Times [[where it's the #1 book), Amazon [[also #1 book) and every other book seller.

If you'd go to Border's more often, you'd know that they always mark down books on the best seller lists.

I patronize independent bookstores more frequently, I'd rather not spend my money with monsterous corporate "bookstores" which is the last thing they are really selling. Borders and Barnes & Noble make their money on magazines, coffee concessions, and music. Books are just there for the window dressing.

Philosophically, collectivism [[and socialism) are based on emotional concepts of "fairness and equality". Reality and human nature prove repeatedly that these sentiments do not work because of the absence of incentive to produce that is necessarily born from individual liberty. THIS IS LOGIC based on the axiom or absolute of individual property rights as unalienable and the basis for prosperity via capitalism.

Try to apply similar logical arguments to liberal philosophic and ideologic principles...it can't be done. Every time it is attempted [[socialist experiments of history) it fails.
