John Dodge lived on East Boston Blvd, north side of the street, situated just south of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Today the house is owned by the Archdiocese of Detroit, and has been used as the Cardinal's residence.

75 East Boston Boulevard built in 1906 for John Dodge. Designed by Smith, Hinchman & Grylls.
I am pretty sure this is a Burrowes design in Arden Park. I didn't use the Farmington Library bio to discover who designed this house though. I just happened across it when browsing old Detroit architectural magazines from the 20s.

The house that Patrick is referencing is 75 Arden Park. If those walls could talk!!! It was home to perhaps Detroit's most flamboyant citizen ever — Prophet Jones.

The Detroit News article I'm linking to pictures the wrong house.
Does anyone know what years the Highland Park YMCA and YWCA 13130 and 13220 Woodward were built?
Found this image wondering if anyone has any other pics or information on the club. From what I have been able to find is that the club was located at Kirby and John R.
I was doing a little research and found a few signatures on building permits that might be of interest.
Doing a little research for Gistok on another home I found the info on this Burrowes design at 276 Cloverly in Grosse Pointe Farms.
Are the blueprints for Marcus Burrowes, or Burrowes and Wells, archived anywhere or available to view/copy? I am specifically interested in the plans for the Henry T. Cole house at 394 Lakeland in Grosse Pointe. Any information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
At one time the City of Grosse Pointe most likely had the blue prints, but in a move of total stupidity through out all of their blue prints and original building permits. Grosse Pointe Park donated most of their blue prints to the Grosse Pointe Historical Society but some ended up at the Bentley Library at UofM. I would start at Bentley as they cherry picked the best sets. The blue prints in the hands of GPHS are being cataloged at the moment, but when they are available I well let you know. They will also be available for reproduction. As for 394 Lakeland a good friend's grandmother owned the home at one time I will ask him if there were blue prints when she lived there. Are the blueprints for Marcus Burrowes, or Burrowes and Wells, archived anywhere or available to view/copy?
