I realize this song was discussed on the old forum, but I believe it fell to the bottom before the actual song/video release made it's debut. I really liked the original/raw version I heard in the radio station studio. It sounded passionate and from the heart. Then, weeks later, I heard the version that was actually released and seeing plenty of air time and was greatly disappointed.

Is it me, or is the released version a bit too upbeat? I'm far from being the biggest country music fan, in fact, my largest collection of country music consists of Hank Williams Sr...not Jr! Yet whenever I hear the released version, I just feel it lost the passion, the message was no longer there, and it almost comes across as celebratory to me. A quick search of youtube and CMT and I came up with a few side by side comparisons, one being cover. Compare the three, what does everybody else think? The actual video has the hurt/passion/reality in it, it just ain't the singin', it's the embedded storyline instead.
