It is SINFUL! and 75% of the interdemonational churches agree.Back to capitalism.
Capitalism is a tool. as a tool, it is neutral, like a hammer. a hammer isn't evil or sinful, it is just a hammer. when the hammer is used to do evil, it is the person wielding the hammer who is evil. same goes for capitalism. used as a tool to build wealth, it is fine. when unregulated, however, it too often becomes a tool of oppression and exploitation. again, the wielders' fault, not the tools. We have laws against using hammers for evil, same should go for capitalism
It only recieved THREE STARS!!! that means its going to flop. Movie critic Steve Ramos published his own statement and bias about Michael Moore's movie. It's the audience participation and amount of money that is poured into the every last box office that makes it number one not the critics point of view. Take a look what happen to that flick.Oh, no, it didn't. See below.
"But thanks to some amazing stories of economic survival and Moore's much-needed clowning, Capitalism: A Love Story will deliver sizable audiences as the first documentary release for Overture Films and easily become the year's top-earning doc."

Now that movie FLOPPED!
Soooo myopic. Look at what is wrought by socialism if you want to see misery. Conversely, when capitalism is more active, growth and prosperity abound.
tell that to the children who lost their lives in US factories, the miners enslaved by the company store, etc., etc.
capitalism is a great tool, but like all tools, needs to be regulated. companies that step out of bounds need to be punished. [[that drug co. that got busted promoting off-label use? they should have gotten the equivalent of the death penalty)
And you have some reference to bolster this claim of 75% of interdenominational churches? A survey, perhaps? An article? Anything? Or is this just another made-up statistic from your fevered imagination?
And if 75% of the "interdenominational churches" [[whoever or whatever that is) agreed that the earth was flat, you'd go along with that, too?
Wake up and smell the coffee, son.
Danny
If you read the quote, it states this movie will "easily become the year's top-earning doc."
I believe documentaries are not expected to be blockbusters such as action movies. It will be the highest earning documentary this year.
You really ought to go see the movie.

I have already saw the movie three times. Moore's film didn't address enough issues of effects of Capitalism a little bit on postive views. In fact he didn't make more comical for the audience. His last movie Fahrenheit 9/11 grossed at $222 million dollars while Capitalism, A Love Story grossed up 11 million dollars. Therefore the movie is a FLOP, a RAZZIE, a ROTTEN TOMATO! The critics called the "easily become the year's top-earning doc." NO WAY!!! Most of the audience didn't like the way he used the Jesus film flick to mock Christianity. Paranomal Activity grossed at 68 Million dollars and its getting good views from younger audiences that reached #3 in the box office sales. That is the best low budget horror flick ever.Danny

WORD FROM THE STREET PROPHET
Don't believe what the movie critics say. Go see the movie for yourself and find is it good or bad.

The fact that this is a piece of inaccurate propaganda might effect its' popularity in a negative way. That would mean that big old Michael Moore will have a few less millions gained by the same American capitalist system that he is ironically spitting on in this film
so what is inaccurate? details please.
oh, right. you haven't seen the movie and can't actually tell us withoout aping some wing-nut blogger, who probably hasn't seen the movies, etc. etc
So easy to answer. The premise is wrong. He is going after corporate socialists in every instance. Not true free market capitalism.
and you have seen the movie?
oh, I love how you always try to re-define yourself out of crap
Ah, yes...the elusive "true" capitalist, which you say has never actually existed, because "true" capitalism has never existed. More mythology posing as "critical thinking".
Well, since "true" capitalism by your definition has never been and isn't now, he engages what passes in everyone else's mind--including those who practice it--as "true" capitalism.
Sorry your Objectivist religious vision doesn't inform the masses, but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Go ask the the bishop or a cardinal of the Catholic Church and they will explain the rest of the details. [[ They are the 75% that say Capitalism is a SIN!)And you have some reference to bolster this claim of 75% of interdenominational churches? A survey, perhaps? An article? Anything? Wake up and smell the coffee, son.
Then go ask a protestant church and talk a preacher. [[ they represent 25% that Capitalism is not a SIN!)
That's funny, I was born and raised Catholic and spent 14 of my 16 school years [[including college) in Catholic schools and never once heard anyone--priest, bishop, nun, teacher, or professor--mention that capitalism was a sin. Odd that they would overlook such an important tenat of the Faith, don't you think?
I've concluded that you have nothing of value to add to any conversation, and so you win the singular honor of being the very first person on my "ignore" list. Have fun in your make-believe world; I'm outa here [[so far as you're concerned).
Danny is apparently of the opinion that you either agree 100 percent with your Religious affiliation's ideology, or not at all. Notice Obama as a prime example of how that is not the case [[vis a vis rev Wright)....although...??? Obama is likely lying about the disagreements with the radical elements of his Church...OK, not the greatest example, but, you get the point.
But you haven't ask your Catholic priest, bishop or cardinal finding out of Capitalism is a SIN. When I have watch Moore's movie he asked 3 of this personal Catholic priests of Capitalism is a SIN and they said yes. That's funny, I was born and raised Catholic and spent 14 of my 16 school years [[including college) in Catholic schools and never once heard anyone--priest, bishop, nun, teacher, or professor--mention that capitalism was a sin. So, Danny and Moore are now in bed with fundamentalist christians?
