    Default Construction of Detroit's 1st athletic air dome Launched

    Some good news for the Eastside neighborhoods.

    From the Detroit Free Press.
    "The $14 million dome, funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, is expected to open in mid-2025 in Chandler Park on Detroit's east side. The dome is also the “first full-fledged recreational center” in District 4 for young and elderly residents to participate in yearround sports and activities, said Councilwoman Latisha Johnson."

    ^ Yes, that is right off I-75 near the Medical Center but used for Cycling.

    Not sure why Danny posted that but the velodrome is also used for jogging, skating, track, fitness, etc. It's not just for cycling.
