I think they should call it something else. It's a different game; dealer hits soft 17's, naturals paying 6 to 5 instead instead of 3 to 2. Game has changed in a real bad way.

If the argument for big raises [[$150 an hour in the case of the UAW), is that the company is currently making a lot of money, then the employees should agree to also get much less pay when the company is making less, and even to pay money TO the company when it's loosing money.

If not, their argument is moot.

If the company is "loosing" money then your argument is moot.

    Try again.

The irony of a union head pushing a strike while wearing a - Eat the rich tee shirt - that receives a salary that puts him in the top 5%,and does not take a pay cut to match the $500 per week that the workers get while on strike.

The CEO is responsible for running a multi billion dollar corporation with thousands of employees and the worker that only has one job to do and one responsibility that for the most part produces crap results is expecting the same pay as a CEO.

It has zero to do with a fair wage,it’s about systematically switching to government ownership of corporations.

The one thing that they do not think about is every country run under socialism the worker makes 1/10th of what an American worker makes while living in squalid conditions.

What does work, but you do not see it here because if worker were risk takers they would not be workers,is employee owned factories as a co-op of sorts, but here people want the ability to reap the rewards without accepting the risk or responsibility that comes with it.

Yep. And power and riches remain aggregated to the top ruling elite under that system as well [shocking!].

    Eat the rich indeed.

Ford may actually go under this time [bankrupt] where they didn't last go-round.

Yes, I feel the same about a political figurehead that denounced the "Elites" and promised to drain the swamp, all on a fake billionaire's salary.

and you see what happened when he tried as they got the swamp sheep all riled up for their cause and kept a country divided as he was living in their head 24/7,as they continue to do so today.

But then again maybe Canadian voters should make better choices.

Unionized casino workers in Detroit go on strike
Thousands of unionized casino workers walked out from three Downtown Detroit casinos Tuesday.
So how many patrons will be betting on how long the strike lasts?
