Default Is the Book Tower/Building having an Open House on Tues Aug.1, 4-8PM~??

I had read that the Book Tower/Building is having an open house on Tuesday August 1, from 4-8PM. Now I cannot find the source, despite using Google...

Can anyone confirm this? I was planning on attending, and was hoping to confirm. If it is, is anyone else going down there?

From the source that I cannot relocate... they mentioned food trucks with free food??

    Mmmm free food!! lol...

It's on Wednesday August 2, 2023 from 4-8. You need to get tickets, even though it's a free event. Yeah, I'm not able to find the link that originally had the information.

    Thanks Royce!!

I found an online ticket ordering location...

Scroll down for details. Sounds like having E-Tickets is not enough... it's more of a first come/first serve scenario... just having tickets is not a guarantee you'll be able to participate!

It's going to be a very large event with people free flowing in and out. There will be more than enough space for everyone to participate!

I ordered an "E-Ticket"... and got this as a disclaimer at the end...

**PLEASE NOTE: A ticket for this event does not guarantee entry and admittance is subject to capacity limitations on a first come first serve basis.**

Basically just a disclaimer that if the building/area is at capacity more people wont be able to jam in. There should be a pretty constant flow in/out.

I wonder if the tour will cover the whole building. Will tourist be able to go on the fire escapes that are 20 stories or so up on the side of the tower?

That's horrible response from Bedrock. They should limit the number of tickets to anyone online. And let those who had their tickets enter the Book Tower.
