Default Scott Fountain seems to be losing ground

I was at the Scott Fountain on Saturday and it seems to be going backwards. The main fountain was mostly working although there were a few nozzles not working. The section that goes down to the pond [[?) was not working at all and there was grass growing out of the cracks.
Anyone out there with the knowledge to give a condition update?

I don't live in Detroit anymore, but I suggest a letter to the Belle Isle conservacy, the mayor, the governor and the State Dept of Recreation. Letters to the editor of the Free Press and News.
Make noise! The squeaky wheel gets the grease. I was on Belle Isle in early May, and was stunned to see the dead trees in the Islands near the canoe pavillion. It looked that bad 30 years ago. Mayor Young made it a big campaign pledge to clean up the island in the seventies and the Casino was refurbished and the grass was cut more often and the roads paved. The state needs to pledge that it will a-lot more rescources to the Island. It should be as manicured as Central Park.

^^ I think an Email just to the Belle Isle Conservancy is adequate... they may just tell you something is pending.
