    Default Anarchy! 'Punk rock poem movie' relives Detroit-Windsor punk scene

    Like most teenagers growing up in the Detroit-Windsor area in the early-to-mid 1980's I listened to stuff like Huey Lewis & The News, Van Halen and Detroit's own The Romantics. Punk rock was something the weird-looking, anti-social kids listened to. At least that's what nearly everyone in my high school thought. Anarchy!     1984 seems kinda late for punk. I remember it being more in the late 70's. By 1980, it was "switchin' to glide" with New Wave.

    New Wave killed the Punk Rock Star.
