Nice that the old time lurkers still come online once in a while... just sad that it is due to a member passing.

In the olden days it was due to Itsjeff and his downtown socials... and also the DYes picnics. I went to one downtown event, but Itsjeff was not around, and I never got to meet him. But I did go to some of the later DYes picnics... and I really miss those!

It would really be cool to assemble a meetup soon!

I apologize to all my old friends here for not participating as much as I used to. I moved to Georgia a couple of years ago after COVID basically gutted the business I had been in for 41 years.

I really appreciate hearing from Stromberg2, Gistok and other old friends, but miss the days of Gannon, Django, Ravine, Jjaba, the Rock and so many others who established Detroit yes as the go-to site of all things Detroit.

If we can hook up a time in the summer, I'm in.
