Swarens' opinion piece in the Free Press is demagoguery worthy of Breitbart News. Swarens ignores entirely the fact that Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve Board are responsible for managing inflation; nor does he mention that those boneheads are entirely the creation of Maralago Mussolini who threatened to fire them if they tried to raise interest rates or dampen the Roaring Twenties party on Wall Street heading into the 2020 presidential election. Swarens mentions that there was inflation during Jimmy Carter's presidency but cravenly fails to mention Paul Volcker whose job it was to kill-off that inflation.

So, I conclude that Swarens is a political hack who may be a moron as well.
