There must be some sort of guerilla resistance group you can join if you wish to fight the Taliban.

The idea is to make lots of expensive bombs, weapons, and equipment, and blow it all up, and then make some more, in an endless loop. It also includes all the films and history channels that glorify war and mayhem, and all the war toys that children play with.

You do realize that Eisenhower made the decision to intergrate the CIA into the MIC and allowed them to use assignations in order to do regime change while fighting communism.

1953 and 1954 over throw Iran and Guatemala.

Allowed US bombers to back up the French in Vietnam which brought us into that war?

    He was hardly anti MIC.

The world will never exist in peace and harmony and I would have a well funded military complex instead of the concequences of not having one,as many European countries found out in 1939.

The put themselves in that position because they listened to the anti MIC whiners, and it cost them millions of citizens.

If you are not willing to pick up a weapon to protect your country or protect those in the world that do not have the strength to do it,then you are relying on the MIC and the billions it puts back into the economy.

We did not even have a highway system in this country,it was Eisenhower, that drove on the autobahn during WW2 as a military officer, that used that as a blueprint for establishing a system when he became President.

A majority of our advanced technology was developed during war and Silicon Valley would not exist without funding for the space program in order to stop the Russians during the Cold War.

He was born and raised in the military complex and was exceptionally good at it.

Its here to stay, you will not change it.

You’re arguing with a door knob Richard.

WTF are you talking about? Neither did Biden. This war has been ongoing for 20 years thru 4 presidents spending billions, training and support for the Afghans. How long do we have to do it for them. For God's sake, the president ran and the Afghans pretty much handed over their weapons. If you don't think this wouldn't have happened under Drumpf, you're delusional.

It’s handled. The rest is political spin, political opportunism, talk radio horseshit.

Yeah... I mentioned that in Post #2. This was opened because the earlier post was in Non-Detroit Issues which is no longer open.

I think it is another reminder of the importance of paying attention to policies verses fighting back and forth over parties.

Behind the polices there are consequences that impact millions of real people.

Another example was the trade deals that destroyed Hati and many American cities.

By infighting we are not paying attention to what really matters and how quick decisions can destroy years or decades of improvement and the human toll that follows.
