Proposal would replace Union Street Detroit restaurant with grocery store

Plum market isn't even open right now...and did you ever even go to the one downtown? It wasn't a grocery store, they had about as many groceries as a CVS.

This is not true, it's a condensed grocery store with some produce and a cafeteria with coffee, bread and prepared food like all their stores. I think you can only get prepackaged meat there though.

Walmart and Target are not some thresholds we have to meet before getting a Trader Joes.

I don't really care much, I just mentioned it as a possibility I prefer non-chain grocery stores anyway.

The rumors are true. Union Street is closing its doors and getting shut out along the liquor store, too.
