    Right ?

When the opposition was leaving on the bus, they surrounded the bus and was flipping them off and calling them names while beating on the bus, until the police escort arrived.

No class, they should have invited them downtown and filled their night with a pleasant experience,no reason in the world to treat people like that,it was embarrassing and shameful as a city to treat guests like that.

When was the last time you went to a concert?
Once a year. Robert Plant, Neil Young, & Bryan Ferry were the last 3 before we were so rudely interrupted. I'm only willing to do The State, Fox, or Meadowbrook these days to see a major act, and I'm willing to pay the price to sit close if necessary.

I wonder if Sly actually showed up for that Nov 14th show the year I graduated. He had quite the rep of blowing off concerts.

There were thousands of tickets, all from the 1974-75 Michigan Palace concert venue era... and over several visits, I cleaned out the room...

On the plus side of the super bowl and the impact it has on the local economy along with other events.

One of our restaurants close by the arena but not really, like 2 miles away, served 2600 meals.

Normally we stay open Friday and Saturday night until midnight but in this case we ran two days straight without closing and had a constant line a block long.

We had to limit the menu to just baked chicken or jerk chicken with yellow rice and beans and boiled cabbage,$9,and the portion actually feeds two.

That is an example of why it is important for a city to create and hold events,it is not specifically the event,it is the money it pumps into the local economy.
