This happened March 19th,2019 nearly a year and 7 months ago and before the Governor became the enemy of the "people". Items were stolen from both her daughter's car and an on duty MSP officer's car. Dequindrick got 2 weeks in jail. Not exactly the crime of the century. They caught him on the surveillance cameras

Considering the wakos in both sides it does not appear that she lives in a very secure environment.

Some cities even city council staff are getting 24/7 armed security attachments.

It is kinda hard to believe a governor from any state can just randomly go anywhere without a security detail.

You are exactly right; if this had been a male Republican Governor the same people that are villifying her would be singing her praises high and low. There are other Governors in other states that put the same type restrictions in place and 45 never says a word about them, with the exception of NY's gov.

Make no mistake, this episode is less about freedom or tyranny than it is about misogynism and emasculation.

There is a huge difference between a demented loner caught at the Canadian border hundreds of miles away from the White House and an organized band of at least 13, who participated in several coordinated actions including testing an IED bomb, with multiple meetings, and communications operating outside the residence of their target.

Certainly there is no one out there who thinks that Governor Whitmer doesn’t wish to stay relevant. No matter who wins the election, I’m pretty sure she doesn’t want to fade into obscurity. If this episode somehow brings her closer to that vaunted cabinet position, then this cloud would have a silver lining.

That's just wrong. Constitutional order is preferable to anarchy or tyranny. If you wish to play a part in constitutional interpretation, then get a law degree and become a judge. We don't need shithouse lawyers whose summed IQs are less than 100, or high-school dropouts with gun fetishes, deciding who can be governor.

I would agree. Assuming she is interested in a higher office than she has now a cabinet position is not how to get there. A cozy relationship with the POTUS while in office is a far better springboard for a 49 year old first term Governor.

People said the same thing about Ben Carson, Detroit was supposed to get showered with HUD grants. Yet it didn't really happen. I don't think it makes much difference and I don't think Gretchen cares that much about Detroit considering she just delayed the highway resurfacing in downtown. The highway that destroyed a thriving black neighborhood.

Also it would be terrible for government to work this way, anybody going into office and giving out things to the people they're in a club with. Sounds like corruption.

One thing I'm sure of, is that we can't be sure of anything. Its easy to blame the Michigan Militia. They are easy to blame.

But they aren't the only people interested in tearing down western society. Antifa, Qanon, Bugaloo Bois, Proud Boy, BLM, China, Russia, Iran.

The question to ask ourselves is 'who benefits'. Its very likely that these idiots were nudged along by someone behind the curtain.

Look at Antifa in Portland. Simply brilliant. They attack federal courthouses and stoke distrust of the feds. They are simply amazing. I'd be disappointed if they hadn't infiltrated the Militia.
