According to my profile, I've been here 11 years today! However, I was a long-time lurker, like most of us I assume. I've loved anything historical from this forum and have actually learned quite a bit. My favorite thing learned was how to decipher an address on most of the north-south roads. Great parlor trick! Now I just need to find a good print of "Our Lady of the Freeway".

whoa! although i've been away from DetroitYES! for several years, i was amazed to see my comment about ItsJeff mentioned [[though i've subsequently added our new zipcode to my ID). glad i'm back. it's been too long.

Have had a couple different accounts on here over the past 10 years or so. Learned a lot about Detroit from this site over that time, especially when I first joined and was more of a regular.

Much respect to Lowell for everything he has done. Good to see him get some well deserved recognition.
