I've used them and they last 12 hours plus - stop talking crap.
Serious industrial use sticks DO LAST a long time. Dollar store ones don't.

Sure spill that hurricane lamp with kids playing in the house....idiot !!!!
Stuck in the 1900's while the rest of the world moves onward.

12 hours is nothing when an outage is days long. And the light is localized, not sufficient for room lighting the way lanterns are. You may need several in one room at a time. And they're still single use.

OK for short term, temporary use so you don't bump into things.

Meddle - it's obvious you have NEVER used a real chemical snap light.
DAYTIME involves daylight, open the curtains, let the light in.

Stop spreading lies, because you seriously don't what your talking about.
ONE lights a room all the way into the corners, Especially if held up high, like off an existing ceiling fixture.

With a 4 year shelf life, they blow batteries away

Also great for cars, trucks, highway emergencies, etc.

Standard issue for U.S. military personnel around the globe, the ChemLight brand isn’t some child’s toy you find at a party store. When the Navy has a man overboard, they reach for a ChemLight to mark his location. When a downed Air Force pilot needs to mark his position for extraction, it’s ChemLight he trusts. These large ChemLight light batons provide bright, reliable, 360-degree illumination for up to 12 hours.

The green ChemLight is so bright it can be seen from up to a mile away – so you’ll have no problem illuminating small rooms, passages, trails and camps with just a single light stick.
ChemLight is waterproof, non-toxic and non-flammable. The light baton has a heavy-duty end ring for attaching and tying together. To activate ChemLight, simply bend, snap and shake to immediately flood your surrounding area with functional light.
