I hope so. It'll be interesting to see how attendance is this season. I think a lot of the empty seats were not only a result of a boring/bad team, but also ticket brokers who overestimated the market for tickets to the new arena [[Wings included). I know season ticket prices went up, but the secondary market might be a little more favorable this year.

Yeah, I think the allure of the new arena didn't provide the dazzle that they'd thought it would, especially for the Pistons, where the arena it was replacing was perfectly fine.

I read a prediction from ESPN for this season that sounded about right. Pistons will get a boost from Casey and be as high as 4th at the all-star break. Then either Jackson or Griffin will get injured and they will just miss the playoffs.

I hope they're wrong, that would be brutal, but with the injury history of both players, could very well see it happening. The LeBron-less East, is kinda wide open this upcoming season, with Boston and Philly being the obvious favorites.
