    More new or expanded developments announced/likely [[more in the wings):

    1) Major redevelopment of the 696/Woodward Parcel to housing/mixed use. http://oaklandcounty115.com/2018/06/...ard-and-i-696/

    2) 600 S. Main expansion of existing announced commercial/mixed use building to include an additional story and two additional stories of a parking deck

    3) Article in today's Freep saying the Superior Fish building and parcel on 11 mile road/Farmer's Market area was sold. This is likely to be another large development.

    Yes, they are expanding the 600 S. Main project. Here's the updated version. To me, this evidences the strong demand for such developments in Royal Oak. With all of these new developments coming online, Royal Oak will transition away from a smaller downtown area to a more true urban area like an Arlington, VA or similar. It is likely to become even more dense, mixed use, walkable, diverse and vibrant. The neighborhoods surrounding the downtown also experiencing a building boom of new houses and renovations.

    Thanks. Not the most exciting design in the world, but better than a surface lot. Also interesting that the building sort of fronts the train tracks. Odd plot of land.
