As it should be. Notice how those who share his political party affiliation didn't feel the need to defend him and in fact were calling for his ouster? Um, the Dems DO their share of defending/ justifying/ parsing, such as when Bill Clinton was having his 'It's just sex...' moments, writ large.
Depends on the news you're exposed to/ side your on/ what you want to hear to some extent. Both bowling teams have their 'talking heads', and masters of damage control, carrying their water and their garbage.
There are members of both sides who are hypocrites, busting up the 'Good ones/ Bad ones' narrative.
