It's going to be difficult to recover from this loss.

This is amongst the largest Sears stores in the country [[2nd or 3rd largest in Metro Detroit, behind Oakland Mall and maybe Livonia Mall). Also, the space was built specifically for Sears.

I was at Macomb Mall the other day, and while the wing with Dick's Sporting Goods is doing somewhat better than before because of the money poured into it, the rest of the mall is a ghost town, especially in/around Sears. It reminds me of how things were during the final days of Universal Mall.
