Well boys, just the messenger on this one.....the 2018 "post-free agency" power rankings just came out, our toothless team is 22 on the list w/the following note;

"When he was last seen on a sideline, Lions coach Matt Patricia was guiding the Patriots defense to one of the worst performances in recent Super Bowl history. So, good luck with all that, Detroit."

That's maybe the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Patricia has been considered one of the best position coaches / coordinators at every position he held. But this idiot wants everybody to throw all of that way with one loss? Seriously.

Man, I remember in 2014 when the Patriots got absolutely destroyed by the Chiefs and it was on Monday Night Football. That dropped them to 2-2 and people wondered if it was finally over. You know what happened after that? They went 10-2 the rest of the way and then topped it off by winning the Super Bowl.

I'm not proclaiming that Patricia is guaranteed success, but this? Come on.

The Rams are putting together one fierce defense. Aaron Donald, Suh, Marcus Peters, Aqib Talib, Sam Shields. Wade Phillips will have a lot of toys to play with. Rams and Minnesota could pose threats to Philadelphia.

So many Lions fans wonder what it would have been like 'if only' Suh and Donald lined up together. Now we'll get to see, though not in the way that Lions fans would have hoped. And we have to play the Rams in LA this year. Yikes!

As far as past history goes, the Rams do a lot of things better then the Lions. They’ve won a Super Bowl, they have won playoff games, they have been relavent . Of course , you could say that about almost every team in the league.

On a lighter note.....the all-time "20 worst QB's in NFL history list" just came out, no surprise, we have [[2) on the list. Without reading the article, anyone want to take a stab on whoze on the list [[we should have more listed).....?
