Florida is a hurricane prone state so it is reasonable to believe that a hurricane will come along.

So in anticipation of that,the state sets aside billions of dollars and is also backed by an insurance company that pledges billions in back up loans,mostly Mr Buffet at the moment.

I have what is called homeowners insurance so I do not care if a storm wipes out my house,I paid for it so it was not charity.

In Florida just like it is in Detroit and many other cities and states there is a large population that does not have the means or chooses not to prepare for the inevitable.

So the federal government is there to step in and help,you are also forgetting that we also pay taxes into the coffers of the federal government.

Maybe it is better to do a little research into how it all actually works verses how you think it works?

Aj, More spin. Find where I ever supported the wall or donated money to Trump, or even believed trump would build a wall before you reel out imaginary lies. My last comments about 'believing' probably had to do with criticizing those who supported the judicial witch hunt based on beliefs. I've repeatedly said that the Chinese wall worked fairly well until bribed traitors opened its gates as the reason a wall on the Mexican border won't work as recently as in my post #1921 even providing my reason. I supported Trump relative to Hillary and still support Trump over most Democrats on immigration. In my post #1921, I did post a pre-2016 election analysis and it did clearly differentiate Hillary's with Trump. Here, I'll make the point again:
It does say that Trump "wants to" build a wall and make Mexico pay for it while Hillary claimed the Mexican U.S. border "is the most secure border we have ever had." Examine that. In 2016 Trump wanted something while Hillary told a whopper. I would say Hillary was the liar or at least delusional. Were Trump a dictator, we would probably have a wall by now but Obama must have taken his magic pen with him that allowed him to make executive DACA legislation. Do you believe that the U.S. Mexican border "is the most secure border we have ever had" too? Unlike your unfailing inability to read my mind and ignore my comments to the contrary, I don't claim to know what you "believe". I'll leave mind reading accusations to you and witch hunters.
