Looking back, I think the entire post-election attitude from Trumpers of, "Well you know this is all going to end up at the Supreme Court", has to be the most sadly humorous angle of the entire episode. Not only their belief that their leader had bought and sold the Court, but also their lack of understanding of how their own government functions. It also shows how far down the rabbit hole some ventured in Trump World, and others who are still there. I'm surprised we haven't heard any cries of, "we attacked the wrong building !"

Now it's time for Powell & crew to play defense. 'All' that evidence they couldn't produce for offense can now come to light to defend themselves. I can't wait to hear the bat-shit crazy explanations & examples that will involve dead rulers and other international conspiracies. Remember, they are Republican !

Hurrah! And without dissent SCOTUS opened his tax returns to federal prosecutors. But yet Judge Clarence Thomas had this to say

One wonders what the Court waits for,” Thomas wrote. “We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us. I respectfully dissent.”

“That is not a prescription for confidence,” Thomas continued. “Changing the rules in the middle of the game is bad enough. Such rule changes by officials who may lack authority to do so is even worse. If state officials have the authority they have claimed, we need to make it clear. If not, we need to put an end to this practice now before the consequences become catastrophic.”

Thomas acknowledged that the case before the Court would not have changed the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, but he also warned that the unwillingness of the Supreme Court to deal with the issues presented in the case now could hold potential problems in the future.
“We are fortunate that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision to change the receipt deadline for mail-in ballots does not appear to have changed the outcome in any federal election. This Court ordered the county boards to segregate ballots received later than the deadline set by the legislature. Order in Republican Party of Pa. v. Boockvar, No. 20A84. And none of the parties contend that those ballots made an outcome-determinative difference in any relevant federal election.”
“But we may not be so lucky in the future. Indeed, a separate decision by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court may have already altered an election result,” he said, going on to mention a state Senate race.

I guess the good news is,if following the constitution is not required when it comes to elections,Kilpatrick can have a local judge change the 20 year rule in Detroit,and run for mayor again in the city of Detroit in the next mayoral race.

This is our constitution being systematically stripped away by the socialists,any local judge can now change any election rules that may benefit them,now that the system has shown how it can be exploited,we no longer have a voice in our elections.

Because people hated the orange guy so much,they were willing to throw away democracy and turn it over to the commie socialists out of pure spite.

They refuse to identify exactly what a domestic terrorist actually is by design.

Created a independent party court system that operates outside of the scope of the constitution.

Created a social media cancel culture in order to remove opposing views and restrict access to opposition.

Created a state run mainstream media that only reports what is beneficial to the socialist dictatorship,formally known as the Democratic Party.

The funny part in all of this is those within the previous democrat party,really believe in their minds ,that they will be immune because they support the party

The party is done with you now,next they will work on consolidating power,eliminating the power of the courts,continuing to remove our constitutional rights and protections and transferring the wealth to the top so they can control it as they see fit.

We no longer need to worry about future generations paying the debt,they will not have to,they will be provided a place to work,a roof over their heads,with no funds for maintenance and occasional power,and a monthly food allowance,but no paycheck.

Now we see why Biden is running the country with EOs,he has to speed up the process,he now has less then two years in order to set the stage to dictate the results of the midterms.

Now all they need,which is what they already have,is like minded judges locally that are loyal to the cause and can rule in order to alter future election outcomes.

After that they will just complete the process of eliminating elections all together and just appoint a district form of government.

Some on this site seem to take pleasure in acting like they have the higher ground because they deem themselves highly educated,along with parroting that those that they oppose are uneducated buffoons.

You do know that Bernie wouldn't have won either because there were enough Clinton supporters to shut him down. Although, Clinton supporters probably would have been loyal to the party and swallowed the vote for the greater good unlike Bernie supporters who cut their noses off to spite their faces.
Also, it wasn't HIS DNC. Bernie only became part of the DNC when it was advantageous for him to do so; he was always an Independent until he thought he could use the DNC to actually have a CHANCE of winning. And he's back to Independent now. Surprise, surprise.

EB-5 program has been around a long time,any foreign investor has been aware of it for over 25 years.

Detroit is listed as a EB-5 green zone for at least 10 years,one of a few.

Way before the elections even started Mr Snyder went to China to push the EB-5 program and encourage investment in Detroit.Nobody said boo.

I have U.K. Friends that came here under the EB-5 program in the late 80s and early 90s.

Every country in the world has a financial program to buy residency rights.

I can imagine if somebody saw a red ant crawling around it would be all over the news and social media that Mr Trump is working with Russia and useing the ants as spies.

I have two kids in college and we all know that that generation was all for Bernie. But from what my kids have told me and from what I've seen on social media, after Bernie was out, a lot of them didn't vote at all! I'm not sure how much of an impact they would have had but unfortunately, look what the outcome was.

My point is he was ONLY a member of the DNC to run for President; he was an Independent until 2015 and then went back to being one in 2016 after the election. He was gaming the system as badly as anyone
