Yes, please send a copy of your Driver's license picture when you vote absentee. The one we have on file that you waited an hour and a half at the S.O.S./D.M.V. isn't good enough. We may send you the same exact picture we have on file from your last License when you renew it by mail, but when you vote we need YOU to make a copy of that exact picture YOU paid for us to take and already have on file and send it back to us. Pay no attention to that voter's registration card you carry in your wallet that we sent to you. It means nothing.

Would you like a free bottle of water or a cupcake while you wait in line 8 hours to vote in the November rain ? Too bad ! Try munching on this free eraser, ruler, or pencil while you wait, all compliments of your local Republican Party candidate.
Funny how they are demanding signature verification in Newsoms recall but to vote you didn’t need anything.

There has to be some accountability and security in future elections and starting high to get at least a small concession will help.

Interesting. The Z-Empire Family... er, I mean um, Face Book last year demanded I take a photo of my current ID, and send it to them when I forgot my password [[from disuse/ dormancy of my page).

I refused, sending them only a photo of an 'expired' passport with the code cloned out. They finally accepted that after a two weeks! I was willing to let the account go if further pestered as I rarely use FB.

Sure, I could look at all as security, but I'd already provided them info most online utilities [[even online banking) accept for verification!

You don't need any more info on me.

Good times - I'm watching all sides so as to be less surprised/ shocked.

And it's not just you Richard... people all over the country have to deal with this "cultist" nonsense within the Republican party. Trump has so many people so tightly wound around his finger... it's absurdly funny that you talk about Hitler's 3rd Reich and say there's something wrong with Democrats. This all started well before Trump... with Fox New's spewing garbage, and now AONN and Newsmax parodying the same garbage. It has torn people and families apart and plays to the hands of our enemies. And it's all propaganda based.

Just look at the crap that Republican Adam Kinzinger has to go thru with his family. Part of the same cult that looks like it hooked you...
    https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/22/polit...ntv/index.html
The problem is you guys deal with things emotionally without taking a step back and looking at the bigger picture.

You make claims about my posts, but are unable to provide links or information that disputes what I posted outside of your personal views.

Two House Democrats sent letters Monday to a dozen television broadcasters suggesting that they stop airing Fox News, Newsmax, and One America News Network, a move which a Republican commissioner on the FCC called a “chilling transgression” aimed at de-platforming the conservative networks.

The letters were sent to AT&T, Verizon, Roku, Amazon, Apple, Comcast, Charter, Dish, Cox, Altice, Alphabet and Hulu.
Eshoo and McNerney asked the companies what steps they took after the 2020 presidential election “to monitor, respond to, and reduce the spread of disinformation, including encouragement or incitement of violence by channels your company disseminates to millions of Americans?”

So my question is and one you will come up with every excuse in the world not to answer ,how come they did not send letters to the leftist state run media for their campaigns of spreading fake, misleading and flat out lies in their reporting?

Youtube/Google has already censored anything even remotely related conservative even to the point where if FOX new has a report and shows a video clip of what they are reporting on as evidence,it gets removed.

When you control the flow of information you control the public, just ask CCP.

If a city posted on CNN,orange man bad,we need to nuke this city to remove the stain, you guys would blindly follow and agree based on emotions.

Bidens pick for AG has stated the voilence commited during the summer by the left is not considered domestic terrorism.

So burning cities, looting and destroying citizens lives in the name of social change is acceptable.

Just acceptable and justified as Kristallnacht was and encouraged by the leaders,no different when the democrats were up there encouraging and justifying it.

I noticed how you guys have been silent about all of the corona virus deaths, while Biden has been in office, how come you guys claimed when Trump was in office,he was responsible for those deaths but Biden is not held to the same standard?

It proves that you guys never really cared about the deaths as you falsely portrayed, you were just using those deaths to further an agenda.

^ With regards to WHO'S censored and who is NOT, I'll just say that as it goes there's the tendency to like censoring [[the other folks) the first time.

But not the second, and third round when applied to what you like [[your voice, your interests, your values).

Indeed censoring is a thirsty, full-swing guillotine - once set into motion.

Examples of censorship under the Nazis included:

    • Closing down or taking over anti-Nazi newspapers;
    • Controlling what news appeared in newspapers, on the radio, and in newsreels;
    • Banning and burning books that the Nazis categorized as un-German;
    • Controlling what soldiers wrote home during World War II.

The press must grow day in and day out - it is our Party's sharpest and most powerful weapon.

Yesterday, I came across this article along those lines-

"Microsoft and several major tech and media organizations will work together to battle against fake news and disinformation. Microsoft announced the formation of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity [[C2PA). Microsoft joins Adobe, Arm, the BBC, Intel, and Truepic as the founding members of the coalition."

It fits in with your second point. It also fits in with the great Time article admitting to controlling the news:
"a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information.

Bill Gates has officially joined the club of 'powerful people' controlling information for the masses. Corporations are being allowed to do what was never allowed in the public square. Censorship has made great strides since just a couple of months before the election. Cancel culture is a subset of censorship. Purges going on in our military and education system are also subsets of censorship. A liberal school superintendent in NYC who had been commended for improving student math scores was just fired for refusing to make some sort of salute. This has gone too far with no end to this cultural revolution in sight.

If you are going to make fun of the current president because he is 78, and has fewer brain cells working... then do it without making yourself suspect of the same problem. You said INACTED... when you really meant ENACTED. Just like you keep mixing SENSE with SINCE. And there are other words that you mix up as well. None of us is getting any younger, but when you poke fun at the current POTUS for being older and less cognitive... then you should probably do so without making others question if you are of foreign extraction....

If you are going to respond on an Internet forum you should probably center your response around the content posted verses using diversionary tactics.

Otherwise others may question if you are a foreign extraction.

Now that you have thoroughly proved multi times that you excel in convoluted logic, how about a new word of the day?

Right on Que the socialist left is going after Judge Thomas because they did not agree with what he said.

Next they will be pushing to have him removed from the bench,as Pelosi is already referring to.

Like I posted, the highest court of the land has been neutered as the socialists take control, anybody that does not follow that party line will be replaced.

Gistoc notice how you use the practice of twisting my words in order to mold it into your agend?

I never said anything about Grandpa smurf in relation to his age.

    I am 60 and I am a grandpa.

He is a grandpa - he is blue so he is Grandpa Smurf and that makes you a smurfett obligated to carry the party line of a socialist dictatorship under the supreme ruler of grandpa smurf.

Kinda like Russia,China,North Korea,Hitler etc they all had and have supreme leaders,in the United States if we were operating under a democracy as a republic, then we would have a president, but sense we are not following democracy we have a supreme leader.

He is grandpa smurf and he is directing his clan of smurffets to carry on the fight of removing democracy in America as you have no problem in accommodating his wishes,as you prove.

Why are you even getting triggered because I call your supreme leader grandpa smurf.

You had zero problems showing no respect for the former president, calling him all sorts of names multiple times a day and could not even be bothered to at least respect the office.

And now you expect others to just fall in line?

Convoluted logic or maybe not,I guess it could be that you were just trained or conditioned into thinking that everybody needs to do and act how you say, that’s that socialist dictatorship coming out in you.

I guess if one is raised as a socialist, that way of thinking is just normal.

The 3 most powerful people in this country is like a 3 stooges comedy show.

The bigger problem with Facebook, etc. is that the sophisticated algorithm they use to determine what they show in your feed is calculated to maximize engagement so they exploit what works best: usually divisiveness and controversy.

The more you click the more like that you'll see. And more, and more, and more.
    They sell ads.

Of course Facebook is not the only, was not the first to do this. Just the best.

I don't know history well enough to say how long we've been divided and conquered by the powers that be. It greatly exceeds me.
Were I to guess: since always. Such a successful strategy.

    Detroit vs. everybody.

Rival empires. Rival kingdoms. Rival races. Rival religions. Rival countries. Rival parties. Rival states. Rival cities. Rival teams. Rival gangs. Rival neighborhoods. Rival schools. Rival crews. Rival blocks. Rival stations. Rival genres. Rival labels. Rival bands. Rival rappers. Rival styles. Rival biomes. Protozoa. Rival everything.

    Total distractions.

We are colonized. Even our bodies. Divided smaller and smaller to create new markets.

You have lotion? You need hand cream, and face cream, and hair cream, and foot cream, and eye cream, and beard cream, and tat cream, and cuticle cream, and I won't say, nor fathom what next.

You must look lighter, smoother, tanner, younger, cooler, stronger, radder, better, gnarly [[not your nails!), less wrinkled, un-ordinary, more "beautiful," not beautiful, in each and every way.

    Exploitations.
    Manufactured needs.

    Who profits, above the fray?
Do they induce, do they exacerbate?
    Collateral damage their accountants ignore.

Not just Facebook. Not even close. Way since longer.

Facebook's power comes from their ability to target audiences with influences. And as easily turn them off. Massively.

Personalized. Per product. Per segment of users. Per party. Per gender. Per race. Per age. Per affiliation. Per ideology. Per education level. Per profession. Per employment status. Per preference. Per ailment. Per dietary restriction. Per habits of your neighbors. Per whom they think you voted for. Per the last time you had the oil changed. Per whatever segments their data scientists attempt to derive.

    Pay to play.

Two weeks ago they announced they're testing reducing political content in Canada, Brazil, and Indonesia. For a "fraction" of their users. How big a fraction they didn't say. Nor for whom. They did not say how much. Neither did they define what political content is.

    Those details are important.
    Transparency is important.
    Not what matter to them.

What KPIs will they use to determine whether their experiment is a success?
It's their KPIs they use to justify decisions.
KPIs as arbitrary, as imprecisely defined, as oversimplified as questions on an exit poll.

When you show what you want to see.

If the experiment is discarded, and it probably will, it will happen quietly.
They will have already benefited from good press,
And learned how to even more accurately target us.

Hardly a comparison to Stalin who just killed everybody, more so kinda like Clinton style.

It’s a part of draining the swamp and like everything else in life, you surround yourself with positive energy you get positive results.

Some republicans jumped on the bandwagon of democrat psychosis and choose their path, has nothing to do with following orthodoxy and everything to do with no more status quo.

Sense the democrats continue to enjoy and support the destruction of cities and the wholesale keeping people crushed to the ground with a lack of opportunities,it falls on the Republican Party to be the adult in the room and actually care about others.

I gave you the opportunity to come up with a fancy new word of the week, but you were lax in that duty.

So as a good independent republican I had to take control and come up with one.

    So Democrat Psychosis it is.

Lots of moderate republicans were not coming up for reelection anyways, nice try on the twist though.

Oh... sorry Richard... was I lax in my duty? You have to realize that most folks on this forum don't take you all that seriously when you go off on your political long winded rants... so we usually read your first and last paragraphs, and skip the 17 in between.

What am I supposed to "sense" about the democrats? I sense that they are happy that there are a few republicans that aren't like "Gym" Jordan and other rabid Trump lap dogs, and actually have a spine. Good for them.

And please... "Democrats have psychosis?" I don't think so... I think it's more MAGA psychosis... but hey, I understand there's a helmet with horns that's available for anyone that's interested on leading the MAGA charge...

Lol that is a perfect example of democrat psychosis, claiming a qounan or what ever they are called, are Trump supporters.

Although American in origin, there is now a considerable QAnon movement outside of the United States, including in the United Kingdom and France since 2020,[29] with a "particularly strong and growing" movement in Germany and Japan.[30] Japanese QAnon adherents are also known as "JAnon" [[Japanese: Jアノン).[31]

I guess Trump must be pretty popular world wide if he has that many QAnon supporters.

I get it,you read the first couple of sentences of my posts and when you realize they do not fit your agenda, then you start figuring out away to make it my fault for your shortcomings.

Sooner or later you will drop your Wiley ways and drop the TDS and realize MAGA is where it is at.

Or we could just keep following your agenda, because it has worked so well for the last 50 years keeping people downtrodden and destroying cities.

It is telling that Democrats' favorite Republicans seems to be the super hawk Cheney family and maybe Romney. There may never have been a war that Dick Cheney didn't support. Like father, like daughter.

Trump was pretty good about not starting up new and unconstitutional wars He was a breather from W. Bush and Obomba who bombed seven countries. Neo-cons within the Republican Party started drifting back to the Democratic Party under Trump. They sought and got greener pastures.

After seven long weeks of the Biden puppetency, we have seen national policy veer back to the foreign interventionism of Bush and Obama. Our new Defense secretary was a lobbyist for Raytheon, Our new Secretary of State has a record of supporting interventionism. It didn't take long for Biden to resume Obama's war on Syria.

When he was running for President, Biden said, "Let's be clear: Donald Trump does not have the authority to take us into war with Iran without Congressional approval. A president should never take this nation to war without the informed consent of the American people." -1/6/20 and "As President, I will use military power responsibly and as a last resort. We will not go back to forever wars in the Middle East to war without the informed consent of the American people." -2/7/20 There was also spokeswoman Psaki who back in 2017 tweeted, "Also, what is the legl authority for strikes? Assad is a brutal dictator but Syria is a sovereign country."

So much for informed consent without informing Congress and, by one account, 3.4% Harris, Biden dropped some bombs on Syria. At least one can't criticize Democrats for having a tent big enough to accommodate Raytheon and hawkish former Republicans.

"POTUS dragging the US into Syria's civil war is a huge mistake. I strongly condemn this military adventurism." -Rand Paul 2/25/21

We should get out of the forever war in Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan and drill for out own oil. That reminds me that since election day, gasoline prices at my gas station have risen 35% from $1.85 to $2.49 a gallon. Renewed Syrian bombings and higher gas prices. Thanks, Biden voters.

See the irony of it though, while Kerry was slithering around Trumps back trying to be buddy buddy with Iran,Iranian backed terrorists in Syria were launching missile strikes and killing Americans.

He is just like Obama was thinking you can use diplomacy with thugs, they should have practiced on inner city gangs first so they could have found out how well that works.

^ lol that is the gist of it.

Lucky for me I can just pass the added costs to my customers.

Its those at the lower end that are driven even lower by design.

Last time SUVs were selling for a dime a dozen, with the newer ones being somewhat more fuel efficient I wonder how it will impact that market.

Hopefully it will hit $5 per gallon,I am kinda liking the new suburbans,I should be able to pick one up comparatively cheap when that happens.

But even at that,I think Ford will take a big hit on their F250 and up market.

Interesting that we hear that Trump offered Kim Jong Un [[Rocket Mat) a flight back to North Korea on Air Force One, from a failed Vietnam summit 2 years ago.
