Yeah this is nothing new and yes it is wrong. Some of the D.'s appointees are political concessions to the RNC. That is the ugly side of politics. Money making is another ugly side to politics that we would like to eliminate or at least limit as greed is a basic human nature.
Congress is exempt from inside trading rules and even when they write new laws to check themselves, they usually have an out. Some on the left side of the isle are the biggest money makers of this game.

Now we have making a statement during the National Anthem about whether you like/dislike Trump or agree/disagree with him a fucking thing.

Thanks Donald. That's not making America great again.

I have zero confidence that he is capable of distinguishing what is a actual problem this country has from the ones he enjoys getting people angry about.

The plan to cut financial support for aging and disabled veterans included in President Donald Trump's $1.1 trillion federal budget proposal has led to bitterness and confusion among the estimated 225,000 vets who could lose the payments.
The reductions may also trigger a political backlash against the president, who made reforming and increasing support for the Department of Veterans Affairs a major part of his campaign against Hillary Clinton.

"Make that guy in the White House keep his promise to all of us veterans, lest we all fall by the wayside and be left on the battlefield," said a former Army staff sergeant who served in Vietnam.

"Please don't do this to us," said a sailor who served on ships in the Tonkin Gulf during the Vietnam War. "My wife and I already live our later years in constant uncertainty. We thought our VA benefits were fairly safe."
I would also point out that those soldiers died to defend the right of Americans to engage in peaceful protest.

Then find a different method of protesting. I was taught to respect the flag.

Well Monday was Donald and Melania's wedding anniversary, but you might not have known since it wasn't publicly acknowledged in any way. Nor was it privately acknowledged it seems, as the President's daily schedule for that day did not have any private time blocked off to celebrate it. Also interesting, Melania had been planning for months on accompanying her husband to Davos for the economic summit there, but recently cancelled that trip due to "scheduling issues." The White House "declined comment" on whether Donald and Melania did anything to celebrate their anniversary.

On January 20, Melania tweeted a photo from Inauguration day on the anniversary of her first year as First Lady. Was it a photo of her and her husband, the President? Did she even mention him? No, it was a photo of her and her Marine escort.

During their most recent trip to Mar-a-Lago two weeks ago [[immediately after the Stormy Daniels story broke), Trump hosted two dinners for his guests...his wife wasn't at any of them. Even though she was present at the resort. They also maintain separate bedrooms at the White House.

Hmmm, I'm thinking some NYC divorce attorney is going to find him or herself landing a golden goose come January 21, 2021. That is, if she doesn't get fed up with the daily humiliation before that point and we end up seeing the first White House divorce in American history.

Stock market has its worst day in 10 years, the DJIA has plummeted almost 1200 points today [[4.6% of its total value) after plummeting over 650 points on Friday.

    http://www.bbc.com/news/business-42942921

This essentially wiped out two full months worth of stock gains in just two days of trading. Coincidentally, this came on the same day that Jerome Powell was sworn in as the new Chairman of the Federal Reserve, having been appointed by Donald Trump to replace Janet Yellen [[who oversaw four straight years of sustained market growth) after deciding not to reappoint her to another term as Fed Chair.

Welcome to Michael Cohen World, it's been a busy week!

    http://thehill.com/policy/national-s...r-court-filing

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/06/13/polit...eam/index.html

    http://thehill.com/homenews/administ...ger-his-lawyer

    https://www.politico.com/story/2018/...records-623661

    To sum it up:
-Cohen's and his entire legal team have "parted ways", so either they all quit or he fired all of them.
-Despite howls from Donald Trump and the Right Wing media about the FBI raid on Cohen's home and office violating "attorney-client privilege", court-appointed "Special Master" Barbara Jones has largely completed her review of the seized material and found that less than 1% of it is actually legitimate attorney-client communications that are protected [[prosecutors won't get those files). The other +99% of the seized material will be given to prosecutors.
    - The FBI was able to piece back together several documents that Cohen had shredded in an attempt to destroy them. They also uncovered 700 pages of messages that Cohen sent and received through encrypted phone apps like Signal and WhatsApp.
-Sources close to Cohen have said that he expects to be arrested "any day now."
-Given all the new revelations, Trump today further sought to put distance between himself and his former fixer, saying that Cohen is "not his lawyer" and that he and Cohen haven't spoke "in a long time."

Meanwhile, there is a great deal of speculation that Cohen's legal team departing means that Cohen is thinking of cutting a plea deal and cooperating with prosecutors [[which only applies if he has something of value to give them in exchange for leniency). The other theory is that Cohen is floating that theory himself as a trial balloon to get help from Trump, i.e. "I'm in a lot of trouble here, I need a pardon." Either way, it would indicate that Cohen knows he's prison-bound and is looking for a way out. Either Trump rewards Cohen's silence with a pardon or Cohen flips and turns state's witness to save his own ass.

Technically speaking, the VAST majority of people who are being jailed and having their kids stolen from them ARE NOT BREAKING ANY LAWS. They come to the border, go to the INS office, and ask for asylum. there is NO law against that. These are not the people sneaking over the border

Am I now supposed to chant, "Lock Him Up !!" like I'm in Junior High ? Or maybe a cute nickname like "Deceitful Donald" ? I could be a twit and make a tweet. Nah....because the only guy who's managed to tell the truth for the last 3 months or so, happens to be the attorney of a hired whore. He says we're only in the 2nd quarter of the game. I believe him. So I'll just sit back and twist one up and watch this unfold. I've even got my own soundtrack from my old sandisk...

I think it's time for fans of President Trump to realize that he's currently on a heck of a losing streak by anyone's political point of view. From the fallout over his meeting with Putin in the Fall, the results of the mid-term election, and this past government shutdown over the wall, he's burning political capital he doesn't even have. Even if he manages to keep himself clean from the Russian investigation, do you really think he has the future political capital to pardon anybody, or even seriously discuss it ? The average American knows what to think of people like Roger Stone, and the President seems to excel at associating with these types of people. The political fallout from pardoning someone of this ilk would be political suicide beyond Ford pardoning Nixon, and make his re-election virtually impossible. These are facts, and even Trump knows he needs a political win pronto to turn the current tide of the rest of his term, or he's in some serious trouble.

He is a non politician that has been in office two years trying to address and fix things that politicians that have been in office over 30 years have apparently been unable to do.

But all of the sudden they are experts at running the government and know how to best do it.

I guess if you are a fan of how things were really screwed up and like the continued transfer of wealth, millions kicked out of their homes, low income folk being kept down in the gutter,60,000 homeless in one city alone and so on,then yea Trump sucks and anybody that thinks that we can do better also sucks.

Which makes it clear that there seems to be a lot of Americans could really care less about the real issues because they choose to continue to embrace and support dead end policies and refuse to address the issues.

Maybe it is like the whole battered wife syndrome.

If one looks at the bigger picture,England,France,Spain,Venezuela,Germany all across the world the silent majority of deplorables have stood up and said enough is enough, maybe all of the lashing out is a response of the fear of running ripshod over everybody and time to pay the piper.

No he will not, that jerk has things so screwed up I have not had a vacation in over two years,so many opening businesses that never had a chance before and they will not quit bothering me.

Then to top it off they get all kinda pissed off when I tell them I can put them on a list for 90 days down the road,I tell them 9 to 5 Monday through Friday but, nooooo up until 11 pm weeknights and even on weekends with the constant calling and texting.

I miss the previous administration where everybody was broke and I could spend 2 or 3 days out on the water relaxing and enjoying the sunsets, you Canuk, could not even begin to understand the pain this jerk has cost me while in office, life was so much simpler when everybody was broke and I had time to enjoy it.

Yes, politicians of the last 30 years have been unable to make U.S. the world's joke, Russia's puppet, and the most hated country, but Trump is hard at work making this Kremlin dream possible.

Ohhhhh this is going to be good. Donald Trump's niece, Mary Trump, is planning to release a tell-all book in which she airs all of her family's dirty laundry.

    https://thehill.com/homenews/media/5...eaked-tax-info

She has also revealed herself to be the New York Times' confidential source of Trump family financial documents that formed the basis of a NYT expose last year on the Trump Organization's financial losses and "dubious" tax practices in the 1980's. Remember at the time, Trump and his allies called the story "fake news" and accused the NYT of making it all up.

The book also reportedly contains an interview with Maryanne Trump Barry, the president's eldest sister, The Daily Beast reported. Trump Barry has largely withheld thoughts about her brother's political career due to her status as a retired federal judge but reportedly reveals "damning" opinions about him in conversations with Mary Trump.
The book reportedly contains other “harrowing and salacious” stories about the president, according to sources familiar with her work,
Looks like Trump's own sister is also getting in on the action! How long until Trump labels his own family as "ANTIFA terrorists?"

It's not been a good week for the Trump Admin in the Supreme Court.

Just days after the court's historic landmark ruling extending Title VII protection to both gay/lesbian Americans AND Transgender Americans, the high court has now ruled against the Trump Administration on DACA.

In a 5-4 decision with Chief Justice John Roberts siding with the court's four liberal justices, the Court found that Trump failed to give adequate justification for terminating DACA, as required by law.

As a result of the decision, DACA remains the law of the land and the 700,000 undocumented youths enrolled in it remained shielded by law from deportation.

That's two in a row where Roberts voted with the liberals, I think we found the new Anthony Kennedy.

Next up... Trump's tax returns. WOMP WOMP!

    Okay Mr Womp Womp

You are aware that the ruling against DACA was only a decision on how it was presented by the administration.

The Justice said, the ruling has nothing to do with the legality’s of DACA only the wording used to make the case against it.

If you remember it was no different then when the Muslim ban went down, first two tries were denied over the exact same reason, third try was successful.

So it was not a win for DACA.

Correct me if I am wrong but there have been many conversations and hearings over justice picks.

All the drama was about stacking the deck towards the conservatives views.

So what is happening with DACA,gay rights in the workplace looks to be done in a none partisan way, contrary to what the orange guy bad haters were yelling about.

Look you guys just need to eccept that no matter how hard you try,you will always end up in failure.

Whomp Whomp over a decision that is basically a non decision,I guess when you have no wins ,that can be converted into a win.

But it sets the bar so low,the centipedes enjoy the belly rub as long as you are down there.

You guys are forgetting that when Trump opened up Mar a lago ,he opened it to African Americans and gays for the first time in over 200 years and much to the dismay of the Palm Beach old money crowd that did not want those people crossing the bridge over, unless they were serving or cutting the grass.

It would appear that both conservatives and liberals on the bench are ruling in line of the presidents line of thoughts.

But the Justice Department said California has no right "to obstruct federal law by adopting policies governing the regulation of aliens," and cannot "adopt a law that makes the jobs of federal immigration authorities more difficult."
The lower courts are divided on the issue. Two other federal courts of appeal agreed with the Ninth Circuit, upholding sanctuary city provisions in Chicago and Philadelphia.
But the Second Circuit Court of Appeals ruled last week that the Justice Department can refuse to give crime fighting money to cities and states that consider themselves sanctuaries and refuse to share information with federal immigration authorities.

That unanimous ruling was a defeat for New York City and seven states — Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, and Washington. They sued after the Justice Department said in 2017 that it would withhold federal grants to local governments that withheld information about undocumented immigrants in their jails.
