The mail in my area has been awful. Sporadic for sure. We get mail every few days. I see trucks driving down the street without delivery or pickup. I recently had go to my local P.O. to drop off mail because no one was picking up my outgoing. Both boxes were so full I had to go in. At least 10 people in line with one person at the service desk whereas in the past, always three.

^^^ Yeah the politics are always present. I had an item scanned per tracking as arriving to my house that I never received. Not stolen, just gone. It was under $25 dollars and I'm just writing it off rather than go to my local PO which is a zoo to deal with it [[long lines). Perhaps I may call... LOL!

They have been troopers in all of this and should be commended, even with reduced staffing they are still making deliveries faster then anybody else,in my experience anyways.

The whole mail in ballots to me,is more about being able to pump billions into the system, because without it it is unlikely they can hire the temporary help that will be needed.

There was a local election in the mid-west that had local elections and actually had a higher turn out then previous elections with people showing up at the polls.

Even at that millions of businesses are existing with mask requirements and social distancing,so why is the voting system, one of the most important civic duties in the country exempt and need to be shut down?

Here they have a carrier that delivers the regular mail and small, fit in the mailbox package deliveries, then a second truck that delivers larger packages as a separate route.

Maybe that is why you are seeing the extra trucks running about?

My toilet plugged up this morning,I wonder if a Trump crony is in charge of the sewage department.

USPS has been and continues to be under siege by the parasitic saboteurs in power. Now Louis DeJoy's attacking it from within.

100 million pieces of mail won't be arriving at once. A lot of voters will still vote in person on election day. The Postal Service routinely gets large mailings. Christmas and IRS mailings are examples. Voter won't return their ballots on the same day or week.

The problems have more to do with the potential of errors and fraud. In the April 7 Wisconsin Spring Election, I used an absentee ballot as did the majority of State voters. Generally, the system worked fine. However, there were some problems. Although State law required that ballots be postmarked no later than election day, Democratic Milwaukee County counted all ballots even if they had no postmark. A couple of hampers of ballots to or from Republican counties were discovered well after the election that somehow got misplaced in postal storage. They were not counted.

Since mail in ballots could be sent out a couple of months ahead of time. It would be reasonable to only count ballots that arrived by election day. Otherwise, like in Wisconsin, election results won't be all in until a week after the election. Of course, some Democratic judge will allow a second week for more ballots to arrive if the election results weren't correct.

I hope he's stopped. How will I know I can get Comcast for $85 a month, for 12 months [[in a bundled package) if I don't get my mail everyday? Pelosi needs to give the USPS another bailout.

YO SEMITE shirt sales spike at Museum of American Jewish History store
The National Museum of American Jewish History's online store is struggling to keep up with demand via a t-shirt reading "Yo Semite" after US President Donald Trump mispronounced Yosemite National Park in the same way....

The museum has been selling the shirt in its museum store since 2011, but the president's slip has caused demand to spike, prompting the museum to post a note on its website advising customers that staff "will be filling orders as quickly as humanly possible."

On Tuesday, Trump mispronounced "Yosemite" twice during a White House event honoring the signing of a historic deal which would provide millions in funding to national parks across the nation.
    His Freudian slip is showing.

You won't get thru by calling...LOL. I've tried. I also order something mid June to be delivered 7/3/20 by 9 p.m. Still nothing. I emailed UPS and USPS on multiple occasions and the only response is we are looking into the matter with a case number.

While I am on lockdown or hiding in my house so I do not get sick,I expect everybody else to make sure I am not inconvenienced in anyway and I full well expect my life not to alter in anyway.

If a worker gets sick while meeting my needs, tough cookie, suck it up because I expect my mail delivery to be on time in the middle of a pandemic because my personal health and well-being far outweighs those lowly workers, most of them are probably uneducated anyways and I am special because I am.

I do not think there is a deep state,as the Russian collusion conspiracy by the Democrats have shown us and recent cases of the far left progressives in power are doing their best to eliminate our constitution.

As far as the current president?

He has eliminated minimum mandatory sentencing and implemented skills and advanced skill training and not used the federal government to go after those who oppose him, like others in the past have.

    Implementing fair trade deals.
    Maternity leave for workers.
Encouraging Americans to support their fellow Americans by buying American products.
Dropping the price of insulin and other medicines.
Truth in disclosure with hospital costs to the patient,

The list is long and the exact opposite of dictatorship qualities.

I also believe that there are people and corporations that lose profit and power along the way so they are going to do what ever possible to alter weak minds in order to gain support.

I also believe those same companies send money to politicians that get up in front of the cameras and do their part in order to alter weak minds in order not to kill the golden goose.

The founding fathers set up a system of government with checks and balances so no form of the government can have to much power,

That system has been proven to work as designed and the Leading Democrats have had a wake up call as they have tried to gain complete power and have failed multiple times.

People like you like to call the president a dictator because he does not bend to your will of converting the country to a socialist dictatorship,he is not there for you,he is there for the country and to do his role of protecting the constitution.

The ones trying to circumvent the constitution, electoral vote,re-write the constitution in order to fit their narrative are the ones that threaten our way of life.

The whole line of BS of I am a Democratic socialist,is the take over of a government in order to implement the socialist agenda without the violence of a coup.

The goal would be to slowly elect comrades into power until they outnumber and can then work to eliminate the constitution.

But as we now see, there is no longer a democratic socialist party,it has morphed into a flat out socialist party using not only violence to force change but also using social media and people like you to push a narrative.

Thats why I really could care less what you think about me,all you are is a tool being manipulated by others that have motive.

You are not special to your cause or the first and will not be the last,Detroit throughout history has been the nucleus and hot point for the communist socialist party,so it is no surprise that it has an abundance of supporters as witnessed here.

If the president was a dictatorship as you like to stand up and shout to the world, you would have already been in a re-education camp, the first ones to go are the ones that claim they are highly educated.

They think they are the smart ones but end up being blindly led through the gates.

Nothing personal against you, your job and mission is to destroy what other generations have given their lives to protect,it is what you are programmed to do and people like you and Jimaz think people should just lay down and join your cause, the problem is you think and demand that but you have been programmed to act but not actually think, that is part of the process, the elimination of the individuals ability to think for themselves and just follow what they are told without question.

You guys keep proving over and over, you have to follow.

But that is your choice, and in this country you have that right of choice, the very thing you seek to destroy, but you are delusional to think that you will not end up as a victim of your cause, history proves it.

So I gather from your position it is much better to just roll over and play dead like Obummer and Biden.

Well, Trump was on his literal "Bully" pulpit a day or so ago: "The president continued his criticism against Biden, saying: 'He's against God. He's against guns. He's against energy, our kind of energy'. Biden has repeatedly pledged his support for second amendment rights and owns a shotgun. He is also a practising Catholic. "
He's giving Joe a lot of credit if he thinks he can "hurt" God.

Far better than having the Trumpster Fire cede power to his liege lord Vlady and turning every single foreign policy into a non-existent chaotic mess.

    Wait, what?

Actually president Trump is the one putting the screws to Russia, and arming it's enemies to the South with anti-tank missiles and such, increased funding by 41% to the European Deterance initiave, imposed sanctions on dozens of Russian oligarchs and government officials, etc.

Speaking softly and inviting Putin to the negotiating table is a way to get problems solved. it doesn't put money in any of their pockets, nor give them a military advantage.

    Tighten the screws, then negotiate.

I think you're thinking of Joe Biden, who has corrupt ties to Russia and the Ukraine? Or perhaps you mean Hillary, who sold Russia our uranium in exchange for donations and speaking fees for her husband?
