I agree with all this.

LBP is also a Trump supporter, and I will not support any candidate who enabled that racist, quasi-fascist clown. It's great you can balance the books but if you're with the Trump loons you don't have a shred of decency and deserve to be voted out of the public realm.

I don't give a shit who he's supporting for president. That has nothing to do with my street getting plowed and my garbage picked up or EMS arriving 3 minutes after a call. I'd rather give the devil his do - he has done a first rate job at the helm of Oakland County. So what if he's not all warm and fuzzy and turned into a curmudgeon, nobody has to love him.

To me, there's nothing more important. I could give a crap about relative snowplowing effectiveness if he's enabling a fascist.

My family survived fascism two generations ago; we aren't going through this again. There are more important things in life than ensuring the trains run on time.
