    Here is an interview [[or rather, parts of it) with Gene and Merv Griffin from 1979. What a wonderful soul he was! I'm glad he left us with so many good memories.

    Thank you greatly for that link. I liked Jerry Silverman-I mean Gene's technique for gauging whether he made his mom laugh or not.
