This has been a small mystery that has been puzzling me for some time.

It is not there anymore, but at Willow Metropark, near the main pavilion [[circa 1990-2000), there used to be a playscape that had a small scale fake city for kids to play in and a wooden train to climb on with a dirt trail that simulated rails weaving through the complex [[There was also a similar playground at Erie Metropark).

However, both a friend and I, completely independent of each other, remember that when we were growing up there used to be a real rail track and a working train that would go through the miniature city. It was operated by pushing a button in the engine and even had boom gates at the intersections with the bike paths.

Other friends dispute that this working train was ever there. Are we crazy? Or does anyone else remember this?
