Windsor/Detroit hum.........louder than ever.....

I was at work Sunday evening at the WWTP, and did hear
a noise, which I have heard before, but I hadn't heard in
quite some time, that sounded like it could belong to a laker
with a diesel engine idling.
Coming in to work at about 3:30 in the afternoon, I saw
what looked like one of the Zug blast oxygen furnaces
going into service. It blasted [[you could hear THAT really
well) and let out a large black cloud.
That one has my vote as being a possible source of the hum.
Wasn't Ray Romano supposed to give a public speech here around this time? Could've been him?
Comment from the above link:
Cameron McKenzieWhy can't the Americans hear it?

It hums in French.
^^^ Now that's funny.
I have been searching on Google for the layout for the Zug Island
blast furnaces. As it happens, Lowell may know better - found his "first
job" painting here:

I gather that "A" furnace is the one closest to the front entrance. It is
said to not be used any more. "B2" [[older maybe and with a "bell system"
[[furnace feeding arrangement)) is behind it.
"D4" [[non-bell system) is more towards the center of Zug Island and to
me, this is probably the one generating the humongous dieseling noises.
Not really sure - would have to check it a few more times to even be
more certain.
If the noise is not from "D4", it could be from the multiple train engines
chugging back and forth across the island, with the different train diesel
sound waves merging together into a similar diesel-like sound, only louder.
