Thanks for all the suggestions folks. I've got some good leads to check out now. But don't let that stop anyone else from throwing their 2 cents in.

I know this is a bit of a trip, but Rheo Thompson in Stratford Ontario is first class. The peppermint smoothies are too die for.
I don't think they actually sell goats, they just have them there, but yes--2 of them are the fainting goats. They even sell goat feed at the store there. I'm going to take a trip out just to see them one day soon.
Took a hen to an animal emergency clinic on New Year's Eve Day. Haven't
heard if the hen has made it through so far [[no news is probably bad news),
but while in the waiting room, I picked up a tourist-directed magazine and
read about the former Senate Sweet Shop:

It is currently a part-time family business.
Little White Hen didn't make it, was buried in an undisclosed location, and
at this time is not going to be submitted for a necropsy. Hope the other
hens and roosters will be okay.
Operageorge, thank you for adding something to this thread. Am wondering
a little if your name is from the candy "Opera Creams" or if you are a member
of the opera subsection of the performing arts. I am way overdue to go appreciate
MOT in person. Have been to Stratford but have let my passport lapse. [[The
University of Windsor parking sticker on my sister's Canadian boyfriend's old car
that I bought from him used to work great for a passport. Would be waved through.)
Detroit owes very much to Canadian artists over the years, those who moved here,
those who didn't.
Bad news! The owner of Truan's Chocolates died, and when I drove by there today, it looked closed. If that is the case, then I won't be getting the discounted chocolate after Easter.
