IMO this refugee security issue has a very simple solution [[At least in regards to reducing the threat of unintentionally accepting clandestine ISIS members). What about increasing the number of refugees we accept, but refusing military age males?

I've watched the footage of the refugees piling into Europe and the vast majority of them appear to be males between 16 and 45. These are exactly the men that need to remain in Syria and fight for their freedom, not flee. It is also the same subset of the population most often responsible for acts of terrorism. By accepting women, children and older males we can both fulfill the moral obligation to assist many that are suffering, but without posing a risk to the U.S population.

Is this the same State Department that brought us Benghazi ?

For one, State Department officials could not disclose that one of the two U.S. sites attacked in Benghazi was run by the CIA because of its secret designation.

Virtually every U.S. official assigned to Benghazi was based in the CIA annex — where the agency, not the State Department, was in charge of security.

And military age men with family? Tamerlan Tsarnev [[The Boston Marathon bomber) came here with his parents as a teenager and was supposedly vetted by the U.S government before receiving asylum here. He had a wife and young daughter at home, but still went on to murder a half dozen Americans.

I'm not opposed to allowing refugees to come here, but why take the risk of admitting young men if we can help without having to do so? If there are 300K plus dead from the fighting in Syria I assume there must be 10's of thousands of women, children and men 45 and over that we can help without needlessly risking our own safety.
