Offer the most money. You become a "destination city " real fast.
Other than temporary, mercenary interest, what are the incentives for college players or active league players to come to Detroit? The lower ranked college players are just glad to be chosen, but the more coveted prospects want to come into a winning culture. With Detroit being in perpetual rebuilding status every other year, that’s more of a disincentive than a selling point.
