According to the article and repeated several times,it is a Michigan and Canada thing and not considered an international crossing.

Maybe that is why Obama did not support it as a federal prospect?

You guys missed where they want to sell the airports, bridges and rails to Canada?

Nonsense. USA's borders and security fall under Federal jurisdiction. The Ambassador Bridge and Detroit-Windsor tunnel are staffed with Federal employees. Customs, FDA, Homeland Security, and Immigration. Streets, areas near, and the straits themselves, are patrolled by Homeland Security and the Coast Guard. [[Disclaimer: I don't want to give the impression we're a buttoned down military compound) Given the Federal presence here, you'd think they would want to establish security from the ground floor up. I don't understand the logic. Yes, I read the part where Murdock wants to shed State involvement and turn it over to private ownership. My feelings are that that would be even more of a burden on taxpayers. Corporations have ways of writing off tax obligations. I must have missed the part about Canada being the interested party. Murdock is a shill for some corporate entity.

How about you actually read the links provided and follow the sub links if you are really interested,if a documented 5000# safe fell out of the sky on you,you still would not get it.

This is the quote from the article. They want to sell the Blue Water Bridge, which happens to connect Port Huron to Canada. They aren't specifically selling to Canada.

The House plan also directs the state to solicit bids for potential sale of the Blue Water Bridge connecting Port Huron to Canada, four state-owned airports, eight welcome centers and a rail line that runs between Grayling and Gaylord.

Where does it say "Canadians" or "Canada" as the interested party? And did you notice that one of the proponents of selling the bridge isMatt Maddock, the same moronic Moroun lapdog behind blocking the GHI funding?

Do you know the difference between reading and comprehending? Clearly, from virtually every post of yours I've seen, the answer is no.

Anybody can read something and take it at face value, and some see things in black and white,I do not hold that against you on your mission, where you lose value is when you try and downgrade somebody else for your own deficiencies.

In the same time you came up that groundbreaking thought you could of picked up the phone and called your representative and asked him,do not be scared.

There is nobody in the city of Detroit or the state of Michigan [[public or private)that you cannot pick up a phone and respectfully call them with questions, you do not send them a text or email, old school, dial the number.

But it is much easier to just say he is a Moroun lapdog,if he is,it’s because you allow it,so accept the blame or accept the consequences without blaming others. You are just coming up with excuses for your own inaction.

There is no one singular action when it comes to cities and states and everything that happens is connected through cause and effect in the bigger picture, they are not working with narrow views and you end up with what you had when you do.
