I remain a Bernie fan at least in the Democratic primary. However, this is the best, most thorough and maybe longest Hillary hit piece on Bernie that I have yet seen. It skips the part about Hillary's disastrous warmongering foreign policy relative to Bernie's more non-interventionist policies but makes some good points. I'm still with Bernie for awhile but some of you here might want to respond in the comment section of this site [[linked at bottom).

Sanders’ 5% [[growth prediction) number was even more magical than Jeb!’s. And so the entire basis of Sanders’ promises for [[promises I wanted to believe) was a historically unprecedented assumption. You can’t base a radical re-imagination of the U.S. economy and the imposition of the largest tax increases in U.S. history on made-up numbers.

Sort of what I said, but in not so many words. Still don't like any of them from either party.

Bernie got 104 delegates in New York vs. 135 for Hilary. Not bad considering it was another state with voting problems.

It's the difference in one applicant being unable to close the deal on a last minute audience with pope, compared to carrying hot sauce in your purse, coughing a lot and having 488 super delegates up your sleeve. Soon, unfortunately, Bernie will be "Puff the magic socialist..."
There's no doubt your party's strategy should be to get Bernie and Trump [[by cross over votes) in the final because Bernie beats Trump even easier than Hillary. But whoever wins for the Democrats you need to make Trump the "Rep" candidate. I don't think Trump will be a match for either of them! [[Ahem)

Looks like Trump might have a route to the Presidentcy yet. 1) Appear more Presidential 2) Keep flashing his current and previous wives in front of the camera for comparison with Hillary or Mrs. Bernie. 3) Ensure Cruz keeps appearing on TV. 4) Do a deal with Kasich to be his VP to get his delegates to put him over 1237. 5) Win Ohio in the General with Kasich because nobody becomes Pres without winning Ohio. 6) Fire all the Rebublicans that ran him down on the way. 7) Fire Kasich.

He's already said he's staying in until the convention. There are states coming up he can do well in. Plus maybe, if we are lucky Hillary will get charged with something and have to drop out.

I hope you get lucky Pam. I would be worried though that if it happens Bernie might be involved in an accident. But at the end of the day I don't think Donald has any preference which one he has to roll over.

Warren Buffet endorsed Hillary. Her Facebook friends were ecstatic. What a difference between Bernie Sanders positions and the Hillary supporters. Warren Buffet is not the wise kindly sage he is made out to be. His Berkshire Hathaway company is the largest shareholder of Kraft Heinz which recently acquired Oscar Myer. Kraft Heinz partnered with 3-G, a Brazilian company to axe 2,600 jobs including 1,000 mostly union jobs where I live in Wisconsin. Corporate profits are up but 2,600 people are losing their jobs. This is the future Hillary is aligning herself with. Buffett supports increased numbers of H-1b workers while getting rid of American union jobs. Bernie's campaign should be all over this alignment of billionaires ready for Hillary. The George Soros Fund is already her largest campaign contributor to date.

In other Hillary news, Hillary says that she rejects the Kochs' endorsement. That's nice except they never endorsed her. One of the Koch brothers did say that Hillary might be a better candidate from their perspective than anyone Republicans were running and that they might not contribute to presidential candidates. Spinning that as an endorsement she rejected is another Hillary lie. She should be embarrassed that the Kochs held her in such high relative esteem compared with Trump. What does that say about Hillary?

Speech at the National Press club:

    https://berniesanders.com/remarks-national-press-club/

When we started this campaign we were considered a “fringe” candidacy. We had no campaign organization, no money and very little name recognition. In national polls, we were 60 points or more behind Secretary Clinton, we were taking on the entire Democratic establishment and, in the Clinton campaign, the most powerful political organization in the country.
That was then. Today is today.
As of today, we have won 17 states and hope to make Indiana the 18th, and we have received some 9 million votes.
In recent national polls we are either defeating Secretary Clinton or are within single digits behind her.

Sanders is done, I'm afraid. Cruz cannot win against Clinton [[only Trump can) and remains only to run interference as sanctioned by some in the right and left elite to keep Trump out.

Cruz can't win against Trump either, so if the Republicans "select" him at the Convention it would be as stupid as "selecting" Romney the last time - a useless candidate who had already lost to the previous useless candidate that lost to Obama.

Right. Cruz cannot win against Clinton, Trump et al. Why is he STILL there? He's for the other side or to be more specific the larger elite 'party' of self interest, power and control.

The big divide between repubs and dems ain't that precise and impermeable -- but serves as an allusion of 'choice' and, apposition.

The repub elites don't really want Trump -- they're really not sure how to control him or fully predict what he will do, or turn.

I agree with The Donald on one thing- Hillary is a crook. I think Bernie can still win the nomination. Even if he doesn't, I will write him in.

^^^ Yes! Hillary represents the same dynastic rule and status quo as the Bush's. She's absent the pull of her husband -- is simply not that likable, and the vote 'woman card' fell flat. Otherwise she would have been the presumptive dem lead as anticipated. Not.

Sanders run speaks to the position and view of many to move out of the establishment somewhat. Hence his numbers to this point. And there will be a number of write-ins and no shows to the whole thing.

You don't think Bernie voters also pay taxes?
