In Wisconsin, men were twice as likely to vote for Bernie as Hillary. Women almost evenly split between Bernie and Hillary. Hillary has a man problem.

In Madison, prior to this election, there were Bernie signs all over but I only saw one Hillary sign in the last couple of days. Yet Hillary received 37% of the Democratic vote in Madison. It's curious that Hillary supporters didn't display signs.

Another win for Bernie. When will he start to get some respect from the mainstream media? Yahoo had this ridiculous headline:

Sanders keeps on winning, and losing

All of this is making Hillary happy, not! Even with the Trump mess, women are not rushing to her side as anticipated.

Some people in this thread don't seem to be feeling the Bern. Get fired up with former Ohio state Sen. Nina Turner:

Maybe people are not feeling the Bern because they have heard all this before. Campaign promises are made to generate votes. Even if Bernie got elected he would still have to deal with Congress. So unless he plans to declare martial law, suspend the constitution, dissolve congress and declare him self president and dictator for life, not much will change. Ever notice that it's very rare that the same party controls the White House and has a huge majority in congress ? People don't trust one party to have that kind of power. And with todays far right and far left loons in power I don't think it will change. I was born when Truman was president and have followed presidential elections since I got my "I like Ike" button in elementary school. I have always voted as an independent for the person I thought would do the best job. None of the current crop from both parties impress me.

lpg, Be nice to Bernie until after the Democratic convention. The alternative could be 4-8 years of Hillary on TV; cringe an exquisite karma punishment. Besides, all of your mentioned limitations also apply to Hillary. Both have already expressed their desire to rule with executive orders so Congress and the Constitution might not be such impediments after all. Bernie has also expressed that he supports SOS Clinton's disastrous foreign policy initiatives. However, there are differences. Bernie, unlike Hillary, voted against giving his power to declare war to Bush. Also Bernie is cleaner, doesn't have Hillary's corporate ties, and portrays the real problem of how laws are rigged in favor of the rich. So there are some reasons to give Grandpa Sanders some slack...for now.

He's had the same consistent platform for years. It's not campaign promises just to generate votes. You might say that about a flip flopper like Hillary, but not Bernie. He is aware of the need to change Congress as well. Other people are running who want to work with Bernie. I posted this link before:

What a dipstick this guy is that thinks he's Presitential material. On the eve of a critical vote he flies too Italy "to meet the pope". I'm not sure who organized the meeting but it happened circa 6.00am on Saturday morning for less than 5 minutes in the Guest House as the pope was on his way out to fly to the Greek Island of Lesbos to give away some more of the world that isn't his to give. The pope said, according to Yahoo, "When I came down I greeted him. I shook his hand and nothing more". And that is a "meeting" Socialist style. Absolute rubbish - and people will vote for him because they want everything for nothing. They should go see their doctor before it's too late These are the same brilliant Americans that gave us Obama.

He was invited there to speak at a conference. People will vote for him because they want progress. The rest of the world has a national health care plan, why can't we?

In O’Reilly's mind that just confirms the liberal bias of Fox News.

Coracle, be nice to Bernie...for now. Hillary is so much worse. Even in this matter, Bernie looks better than Hillary. Hillary was hanging out with the 1% while Bernie was genuflecting to his Holiness. Meanwhile, Hillary was fund raising with George Clooney in San Francisco.Tickets to the event cost roughly $30,000 per person or $350,000 per table. The Pope was a good sport although seeming less than excited about tripping over Bernie at 6am. He graciously shook Bernie's hand. He was doing his duty. The Pope explained:

"This morning when I left, Sen. Sanders was there. ... He knew I was leaving at that time and I had the kindness to greet him and his wife.""When I came down, I greeted them, shook their hands and nothing more. This is good manners. It's called good manners and not getting mixed up in politics,"

Oh coracle, coracle, coracle; why do you disparage the everything for nothing part of the equation so much???

Don't you know folks in Canuckistan don't pay into the system, don't pay tax or contributions on their paycheck for medical, dental? Don't you know that at the end of the day, it costs something to get the benefits of a social net, but not nothing?

Besides, take a pen to paper or boot up the calculator on your smartphone or computer. Tell me why you can't afford a universal system with all them Nucular submarines and Aircraft carriers saving the world from the malignant tumor of what? Communism? Nah. It don't exist no more.
Russia and China have turned into a paradise for Donald Trumps to blossom and suck up everything in their path. Unbridled gabbidalism with a Big ztig and a diny vugging garrod...

Thanks for your note canuck, but the only part I understood was "Unbridled gabbidalism with a Big ztig and a diny vugging garrod..." pope was obviously the vugging garrod and Sanders was obviously trying to use gabbidalism with a Big ztig to get his attention [[and failed miserably; but such is the excuse of all socialists - they tried).

Are there no symmetric accusations about the suppression of Republican votes? Why that?

Is it that the Republican spin machines are tardy or is it that there have been no Republican votes suppressed?

    Why this peculiar asymmetry?
