when Mike can produce a real dollar amount I will produce a systematic answer without the demagoguery. Mike present a real Health Care Alternative I will be glad to review it..Mike can tell the his story without the demagogy I Will respond- better yet let Mike answer my following questions:
1. Are you happy with the current health care system?
2. DO you think a system or combination of a federal system with state enforcement would be the answer?
3. Do you think the current way we determine Length of Stay in Hospitals is adequate for all same diagnosis?
4. Do you feel that poor should be afforded Health CAre?
5. Do you feel that senior citizens should have to chose between seeing a MD paying their bills or going without medication? Due to increased costs and co-pays?
6. Do you believe in portability?
7. Should pre-existing conditions be excluded in applying for plans?
8. While we have a great Health Care system from a scientific perspective do you believe we have a great HC delivery system?
9. Does our current system work equally for our poor and rich?,
1O. Does a person working for minimal wages deserve affordable care?
11. Do you think our government can't handle health care? If yes do you feel our government can handle armed forces, postal system. IRS , education, highways etc.?
12. What would you say to a person who gets dumped from a hospital, or ap erson that can't seek appropriate care their condition beyond saving their life?
13. Do you beleive that prevention or agressive management will ultimately reduce costs of care?

please let me rephrae my questions: Do you think our cirrent system addresses the above questions? if Yes //if no well..you to may beleive that we need reform...

If I was Obama I would say this : We need Health Care reform...but it will take time and IT will happen and everyone will be covered with Portability and Treatment of preexisting conditions. This like to NASA program of the 1960's will be the national agenda for our well being ...and will be completed within five years. That would be a better compromise, but then some of the republicans [[who are using this as a way to disrespect their president) would lose their wedging issue.

Start by fixing the portion most broken [[and broke)...the current public sector elements [[Medicare and Medicaid). Fix them how? Privatize them as much as possible by freezing current benefits, stopping new enrolments, and offering mandatory and completely tax free private sector options funded by the money that is currently being taken in taxes to fund these failing entitlements.
