Any updates on the Brewster Wheeler redevelopment?

This project was originally announced in 2015, but the project has progressed little.

A year after the initial announcement, the residential component was scrapped from the proposed development.

Two years later, no word on the Brewster-Wheeler. Recently, Curbed Detroit did one of their "MAPPED" lists for Brush Park, highlighting 15 different projects within the neighborhood, but the Brewster-Wheeler was absent.

Does anyone know what is going on???

Schostak also announced they would be redeveloping Monroe Block and that never materialized as well. I get the feeling they lack follow through.

Thanks for the info. The Detroit News article from 2016 also stated that Curt Catallo, owner of the Vinsetta Garage and Union Bar & Kitchen restaurants, and K.C. Crain of Crain's Communications, were also spearheading this development.

No, the whole staff is too busy getting hysterical over scooters and bike lanes.
