In May of 2013, Melinda Brown Duncan was interviewed by Fox News on the quality of life in the City of Detroit. Ms. Brown gave a very candid interview where she shared her level of exasperation with the City, its police coverage, abandoned houses and the current administration under then mayor Dave Bing.

It's February of 2015 now and many of the concerns Ms. Duncan so passionately talked about are top priorities for the new administration in the City of Detroit. By most accounts, the City is making steady progress and improving on these problems. Many Detroiters are feeling a true sense of hope for the first time in many years.

It would be interesting to visit with Ms. Duncan now to talk to her nearly two years after the interview. Does anyone know her or how she is doing?
