I saw the three star review of a new Ferndale bbq joint, Zeke's in today's News and I put myself in the shoes of the average suburban couple from Macomb Twp or Troy who dines at Slows. Why bother driving the extra 10 miles each way, dealing with crappy Detroit proper roads and potential property crime? Just to say we ate in Detroit?
Ferndale is home to the region's hottest restaurant, [[and Freep's restaurant of the year 2014), Torino. Lots of bars, coffee shops, new restaurants.
