On beyond the show's expenses and supporting the City of Detroit by paying
many tickets, Pete [[hope he's not sensitive about this - I know I have dull
social sensitivity and will mention stuff others won't) could use a couple of
good used hearing aids. [[Last week my Dad went to be fitted for earmolds,
so this is Hearing Aid Month for my family.)
My Dad has been there enough to play the saxophone for the Keweenaw Swing
Band within the past ten years and sometimes the Birmingham Bloomfield band
though he is not a regular there enough to be a listed name on their player roster.
He confabulates sometimes. That is an experience. Can be very irritating but
Mom has learned to be gentle when mentioning to him that he has to go back to
    the story drawing board.
If someone generous is reading this, and they are not sure about John's Carpet
House, but they are sure about the Birmingham Bloomfield Concert Band, that
entity can also use donations, though I don't think they need to pay off Birmingham
city ordinance tickets to any great extent at this time.
Haven't donated anything yet, my finances aren't where they should be for now.

LOL. I don't think so. I don't think there is any remedy whatsoever for
    confabulation except patience.

I guess I have one more thing to say about the courtroom experience. With all
of the people in the courtroom, it got pretty airless in there. Like with tear gas,
having lots of people to protest will get results, but their health should be good
    enough to withstand the results.

Okay, not sure where you going this. Awesome your Dad played. It really is a special Detroit experience. Maybe it will survive , maybe not. Did my little bit, hate thinking a real Detroit tradition might eat dust.

Courtrooms, totally airless. Lawyers and Judges have to eat too. Best recommendation, enter a court room and do a serious fart.

Thought it nice your Dad played but if you want a pissing match ,go for it, Not interested and don't care.

John's Carpet House Blues is the event not bull shoved at me. Fart is a great GERMANIC term. If, of course, you are implying low brow. I'll measure up. What do you expect, I am Detroit.

One could look up "Third Band" [[lowest tier) compadres from suburban
high school and see [[among those still living) who was interested in eating
a whole box of golden raisins at 3 am, then being at 36th district court
at 8:30 am. But then the court employees wouldn't feel respected,
and they wouldn't be. Better signatures on a petition. Better an a
capella performance in the hallway outside of court from 8:15 am until
    8:30 am every day.

Wow. That was fun Dumpling. We went to court as a civic responsibility and get called "third tier".

My husband does like raisin bran for breakfast. Great fiber and he does fart. Great word!

Did petitions but it doesn't do much good.

If your are all that, I'd like street lights Sumas

I attended Royal Oak Dondero High School from 1971-1975. Those were baby
boom years. The band members wouldn't all fit into one concert hall so we
were subdivided into three groups according to ability as based on audition -
and incidentally according to how grown up we were at the time.
No slight to you and yours was intended. Thank you for all you do.

Not sure we do that much anymore. WSU 71 to 75 so I have a few years on you. Not bragging [[yes I am) I was 16 going into college.

The point I would like to make is the written word is easily mistaken. Formal apologizes to anyone I may have offended.

Side note to Zacha: I have not sworn, I promised. But didn't think fart was a bad word regarding our court system.

Extra side note: Always got stuck in the back of the room because I was tall. 5'7 isn't so tall these days.

    Happy Easter to all. Sumas

    Benjamin Franklin's "Fart Proudly"
Franklin believed that the various academic societies in Europe were increasingly pretentious and concerned with the impractical. Revealing his "bawdy, scurrilous side," Franklin responded with an essay suggesting that research and practical reasoning be undertaken into methods of improving the odor of human flatulence.
