    Default Partial Solar Eclipse Expected in Detroit on October 23, 2014

    This is expected to happen just before sunset, between 5:30 PM and 6:30 PM.

    The weather forecast right now from the National Weather Service calls for Sunny skies [[granted, there's never a guarantee with that in the Great Lakes region during October), so it appears most folks will be able to see it.
